The annual congregational picnic was held this year on August 15th at Recreation Park. Temple members mixed freely with new members, visitors and guests and enjoyed the usual hot dogs and hamburgers ably provided and prepared by Brotherhood.

"Israel's Other Struggle: the Struggle for its Soul" was the second of Sidney Singer's presentations on the state of Isarel's being. It was held in Unger Hall August 31st, and an enthusiastic group of temple members and guests participated. Lively questions and discussions followed Sid's well documented and prepared report on the ethnic, cultural, economic and religious struggles within Israel. The meeting was sponsored and arranged by the Social Justice Committee. As expected, time ran out before all topics were covered. The session will be continued October 12th.
